a breathless moment
Yesterday I told you about my interview with the school`s head teacher I met at a Satarbucks` coffee shop near a station. They told me I will receive an email in a few days after thinking about the interview and having another 2 interviews with some different applicants for a job at their English preschool.
Today I received an email of this guy telling me that they were pleased with my character and my interview even with my answer on his last question about the 3 piggies and the big bad wolf I worried about. Therefore he invited me for a demonstration lesson I shall hold showing them my teaching methods and my way of interacting with children. Well because he also said that it should be at a Thursday or Friday in the afternoon I`m not sure yet, when exactly.
I will go back to Owariasahi to my host family`s place on Tuesday next week, so I will talk to them about this job opportunity now and maybe go back to Kobe the following week for leading an English lesson for children for about 15 minutes and playing some games or doing crafts together with the children afterwards. Dunno yet.
When I checked my emails this afternoon and saw the already received email of this school, I thought it would be a refusal, because I didn`t think they already interviewed some other applicants they told me about.
But I`m really glad to be chosen for a demonstration lesson, even if it is not sure yet if I really will get this job. But the chance is still there. So let`s see. But it would be great. No, awesome! Because if I get this job as a part-time teacher at their school, I will be able to enter CLARK foreign language school of Kobe next year in autumn, which I`m intending to do.
So let`s hope, everything will turn to good account regarding this teaching position at Kobe`s Zoo-phonics academy.
I will post my meals/snacks/exercises stuff [fit & healthy challenge post] later after having dinner with my boyfriend and some other work I haven`t done yet, like some Kanji exercises and so on.
