Kobe shopping haul

Did you miss me?

Well, here I am. Back from a great short trip to Kobe for visiting my boyfriend and his new flat. I really love his new living place. It's awesome! It's not that big than the flat before next to the company he's working in, but quite big for Japanese standards. Furthermore it's quiet. The mansion is located next to a JR station, but it isn't noisy at all - that's great. Beside this, I love the doors and the light switches in there. Donät ask me why - I just love them. haha
I wanna live in a similalry flat when I attend language school in Japan, but that's just impossible regarding my portmonnaie. haha.

I arrived in Kobe on Friday and because he still had to work I went shopping in the afternoon after arriving at the bus terminal in Sannomiya. I just locked my bag somewhere and looked for some make-up goods.
As I told you before I never used make-up before - well not really. And therefore had no idea what to buy and even how to use it, so I watched tutorials and read blogs about make -up etc the evening before going to Kobe.
In Sannomiya I went shopping in diiferent shops and malls and bought everything I need for daily use or going out with my boyfriend.

[I will upload photos tomorrow when I will have time. Sorry.]

To be honest, I even didn't know what a foundation or bronzer is, so I was quite a hopeless person regarding make-up. But I think I will became better in using it by trying different styles for different occasions in the future.

I bought some foundation and puffs, because I will loose them for sure the next few weeks. haha
I also was thinking about buzing a bronzer or powder because most people recommended it, but didn't find any suitable that day so just skipped this step and went looking for an eye liner.
What kind of eye liner are you using? I saw that many different types and colors and was somehow confused, so I just bought a normal black eye pencil, because I'm not very talented in using a liquid or gel one. Probably I just need some training, but won't be able to use this that often because my boyfriend said he doesn't like dark-made or that black-colored eyes.
While looking for eye liners I saw a lot of lovely eye shadow colors, but didn't know which ones would fit me, I just choose some light and creamy pastel colors like white, pink and brown.
Regarding mascara I keep on using my old one, because I have verz long natural lashes, so it doesn't matter what kind of mascara or if I even use any. Lucky me in at least one case. haha
When I looked at people on the streets in Germany they never used rouge that often or at least that intensively Japanese girls and women are using it. Their cheeks are just that coloful, but I reallz love it like this. I never used rouge before so I wasn't sure what to buy. The creamy or the powder version? or both? Well, I bought both. An orange and very light pink powder rouge and a creamy spcieal version rouge. It's main color is pink, but mixed up with some orange, light brown and lighter pink. First I thought it will look strange using it on my cheeks, but the color is great.

After this weird haul catching I went out with my boyfriend in the evening and had some Ramen at a restaurant located close to his place. They were very delicious and tasted more like Kyushu Ramen, not like the ones you are offered in Kansai area.

On Saturday we went out again for having dinner and studying at a coffee shop, because he will take some other exam soon. While he studied his financial stuff I studied some Japanese by using a JLPT N2/N3 book I bought a while ago, but never used it before. But it seems to be quite good.

On Sunday we went buying some stuff for his new flat and a bento box (a Japanese lunch box) for my little sister in Germany because she asked me to buy one for her. Well, I don't know that much about bento boxes and bento in general, but I was adviced well by my boyfriend next to me. While looking for a green or yellow colored bento box for her I discovered a lovley pink one I really want to have, but I think I won't be able to use it that much since I don't attent school anymore.
Sunday seemed to be our last evening together, because it was planned to go back to Nagoya on monday. So we went out for another dinner and because I wanted to eat some Ramen again, we went there again. haha.

So, on monday morning I finished everything like packing clothes, doing the washing up, washing the dirty clothes, etc. and I was ready to hit the road, but somehow I felt very sad and depressed that morning so I actually didn't want to leave his place. Luckily he told me it would be ok to stay here for another day if I can change the bus reservation from monday to tuesday. So I did this and had some last few hours together with him studying at a coffee shop in the evening before hitting the road back to Nagoya today.

By the way, my parents sent me another package for Christmas a while ago, but because I didn't meet up with my boyfriend in Kobe I wasn't able to open it. We received a lot of sweets, like fizzy candy, chocolate, etc. We also received some DVDs to watch of Ghibli on German and Japanese. So they're quite good for both of us.

[photos of gifts will be updated tomorrow as well]

So far for today.
I'm still busy filling in application forms and translating documents for the language school application starting from March 1st.

One Response so far.
