Friday random post #2

Good morning everyone!
Well actually it isn't Friday anymore here in Japan because it's already Saturday morning, but I didn't had enough time to post this last night so it will be up now.

I think the thing I will miss the most when leaving Japan in about 2 week will be the daily 'Kombini' visits in the evening after having dinner, before going out or after studying at a coffee shop. Japanese people really love to create and develop new stuff - this is what always comes into my mind while looking for new food, sweets or drinks in a Kombini close to my boyfriend's place.
I mean, in Germany there are always the same things. People never would try something 'too' new, or at least not that much people and therefore food & drinks companies don't create strange stuff like 'Sparkling Chocolate Soda' nor a 'Creamy Chocolate' drink. Neither will there be a 'hot cake drink'. And I will miss these days entering a store looking for something to drink and ending up in 'WTF is this?!' 'URGH- It seems to be disgusting, but HEY! Let's try it!' or something like this.

Calpis Creamy Chocolate - wasn't as bad as the 'Sparkling Chocolate Soda' I had before and to be honest it was quite yummy IF there were not this strange after taste. haha

Morinaga's Hot Cake drink - I was able to drink only 1/3 of it because it was just too ... It tasted like milk, but also like hot cake and something different, but well.... Disgusting wouldn't be the right word. Maybe not very drinkable? haha.

Currently Suntory's Natchan! is selling their PET bottled drinks like apple and orange together with some cellphone straps including 'One Piece' and 'Toriko' Block Collection cellphone straps.

There are 11 types + a secret one [it's a panda - but looks scary somehow]. I was able to get Zorro and Mihawk of One Piece for my little sister in Germany because she loves those Characters. Personally I'd like to get a Sanji before ending, but wasn't able to get one yet.

Zorro and Mihawk cellphone straps. Aren't they cute?
Their hands and legs are movable like LEGO since it's a Block Collection of those straps.

Actually, this week nothing special happened I just went out with my boyfriend a few times for dinning out and studying at a coffee shop.
This afternoon the friend of my boyfriend who just moved to Mie from Saga, who visited us last week will come to Kobe again because there's some meeting of German studying people, so we will meet up with him and go there as well tonight, I think.

Have a nice weekend & stay healthy!
