the weekend in a nutshell
I'm feeling like I didn't post anything for weeks or months, but actually it were just a few days. haha.
Yesterday I went to Nagoya for - why actually? For doing nothing. haha
Just went having some coffee and going window shopping with a friend of mine and her sister in the afternoon. Lately shops and malls are in Valentin's Day mood. Everywhere you can see hearty stuff, chocolate, and so on.
Well, Japanese Valentin's Day is different from the one I'm used to in Germany. Because in Germany -well there are exceptions- the man, husband, boyfriend or whatever buys some flowers and/or some chocolate for his girl, a dinner for two and may add some lovely greetings by choosing a cute card in a bookstore. While most guys are showing their love to their girl like this in Germany, German girls also buy some chocolate, some self-made things like a photo-collage or greeting card or something else more creative than the guys .haha
Regarding Japanese Valentin's Day, I was said girls are making their own chocolate for their boys and wrapping them in a nice paper before handing them out to their loves. I also was said that in Japan guys are receiving chocolates from strangers / well don't know if that's true, but never heard about something like this regarding Germany. And yes on FEB 14th guys are the only ones receiving chocolate, because in Japan on MAR 14th, it's called 'White Day' Guys are making some gifts for their girls in return to their received chocolate in February.
Don't know if it is still like this or also changed into a more American version like most festivals, Christmas for example.
Today I was just staying at home, to be honest - just lying in my bed while webbrowsing. haha
I talked to my little German sister via Skype the day before about 'Thomas Sabo Charm Club', which is a collection of accessoiries like necklaces, watches, rings, etc you can add charms to. I also received a necklace 2 years ago for Christmas and thought about adding another charm, so I was browsing the website and found a lot of things I'd like to buy. haha Like always.
Aren't tehy lovely? Well, maybe the Pretzel isn't that loevly, but to be honest if people ask me what I'm missing the most about Germany I hav eto admit that I'm missing eating real German Pretzels the most.
But that wans't all I browsed for shopping today. I browsed a lot of fashion online stores located all over the world and found to lovely dresses on a Singaporean website.
Really love those two pieces and actually they're not expensive at all, because they're just about 20 USD each, but not sure to order yet. Wahtever.
So, what about you? Will you make some special Valentin's Day gifts, chocolates for your loved ones?
So far for today.

Ich liebe Thomas Sabo! <3
T_T meiner armer Geldbeutel! xD
